"Who can benefit from attending a Marriage Renewal Weekend?"
Couples from all walks of life and in different stages of their relationships have benefited greatly from attending a Cornerstone Marriage Renewal Weekend. We frequently receive testimonies from couples telling us how God has used the Weekend to heal their relationship, bring them closer to Him and closer to each other.
The Weekend is open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation or ethnic background, whether married just a few years or many, whether separated, divorced, or remarried. The Weekend offers a wonderful opportunity to get away and learn and apply God's plan for marriage.
What you and your spouse will get during the Weekend is not just one couple's opinion on marriage. Instead, it is the result of more than 20 years of biblical studies that have been distilled into an easy-to-understand process for healing a hurting marriage, and providing the tools needed to build a healthy marriage.
"Is the Marriage Renewal Weekend Biblical?"
Yes! Cornerstone Marriage & Family Ministries believes that God created the world, including man, woman, and marriage. Therefore, God's truth found in the Bible are the ultimate authority for those seeking a healthy, fulfilling marriage. We consider the Bible first and foremost in all of our teaching, counseling and materials.
"What is the Format and Atmosphere of the Weekend?"
Even though there will be 16-20 other couples attending, the Weekend is designed just for you and your spouse to learn and interact together as a couple. The format is not group counseling, and nobody is asked to share anything about their marriage during the sessions. The format of the weekend combines experential learning sessions delivered by a husband/wife ministry team, with designated times set aside for guided projects to be done as a couple. We have question-and-answer times with the ministry team, and they are available to counsel and coach you on an individual/couple basis.
Weekend Dress -The Weekend is very casual. Dress comfortably. We all have varying degrees of hot/cold comfort, so plan ahead by wearing short sleeves (even in winter months) and bringing a sweater or jacket (even in summer months).

"Do I need to be a Christian to attend?"
No! All are welcome! Although we are a Christian Marriage Ministry, we are respectful and considerate of each person's spiritual orientation. We do not use the Bible to condemn you. But rather we accept you as you are, and do not judge you.
"Where do we stay?"
For your convenience, we offer our retreats at two venues; (1) Hotel venues and (2) Premier Retreat/Conference Center venues.
*Retreats held at Hotel Venues include program and materials for two, but do not include meals and lodging. To maximize your Marriage Renewal experience, we strongly encourage you to stay at the Hotel where our sessions will occur. We have arranged room discount pricing with the Hotel.
*Premier Retreats held at Retreat/Conference Center venues are all-inclusive, and include program, materials, meals and lodging for two.
"Do you offer post-weekend support?"
Yes. Not only do we equip you with tools to help you keep your relationship on track, we also offer you an optional four-session follow-up program. Tele-coaching support is also available after the weekend. We feel strongly that "after-care" is vital to your success after the Marriage Renewal Program.
"Additional Info"
